Our client is seeking a professional Housekeeper / Laundress to support their family of four in New Canaan, CT. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, proactive, and work efficiently around the family as to not disrupt daily flow of the household.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Daily cleaning of the 9,000-sf home.  

  • Organizing throughout the home 

  • Laundry for the family of four 

  • Laundering bedroom linens weekly. (Ironing sheets) 

  • Watching over the children (ages 14 and 11) when the parents have evening events  

  • Flexibility to spend overnights when the parents travel 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of similar experience with one family   

  • Previous experience working with high end home finishes, antiques, and fine linens 

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record 

  • Flexibility to stay late or arrive early as requested by the family  

  • Flexibility to spend overnights as needed 

  • Excellent laundress Skills 

  • Outstanding, verifiable references  

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm (Flexibility required) 

Salary: $30 - $35 an hour
