Our client is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and pet-friendly full-time Housekeeper to join their household in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate is someone who can maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization, with added responsibilities of dog care when the principals are traveling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping Duties:
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of a 11,000 sq. ft. home
- Laundry, linen changes, and wardrobe care
- Organizational tasks throughout the home
- Light meal preparation or cooking (a plus, not required)
- Pet Care:
- Caring for dogs when principals are traveling
- Feeding and walking
- Staying overnight in the home with dogs during travel periods
- General Household Support:
- Oversee household inventory and restocking
- Coordinate with service providers or maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of similar experience in private household preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Love of dogs and comfort caring for pets
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently
- Strong references
Schedule: Full-time
Salary: $80,000–$100,000
