Professional Nanny/Educator- Saratoga, CA

Our client,  based in Saratoga, California is seeking a proactive, experienced, and highly reliable full-time nanny to care for their 15-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development or early childhood education and will be highly engaged in supporting the child’s developmental milestones. The family values structure, consistency, and discretion. The nanny should be proactive in planning enriching activities, presenting ideas to the mother for approval, and creating a thoughtful schedule focused on age-appropriate learning and play. This role is especially well suited for a nanny who is organized, tech-savvy, and adaptable to a growing family. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for a 15-month-old child
• Follow and maintain a structured daily and weekly schedule focused on developmental milestones and age-appropriate learning
• Plan and research local activities, classes, and outings, presenting options to the parent for approval
• Support the child’s continued development through engaging educational play, reading, and skill-building activities
• Maintain consistency with routines including meals, naps, and daily structure
• Assist with sleep routines and reinforce healthy sleep habits
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child
• Keep play areas, nursery, and child-related spaces organized and tidy
• Travel with the family when needed
• Be proactive, resourceful, and thoughtful in anticipating the child’s needs
• Maintain a high level of privacy and discretion
   

Qualifications:

• Strong background in early childhood education, child development, or similar field preferred
• Highly organized and structured in approach to childcare
• Proactive mindset with the ability to plan ahead and manage schedules
• Bilingual preferred
• Tech-savvy and resourceful when researching activities and resources
• Professional, discreet, and reliable
• Comfortable traveling with the family
• Adaptable and capable of supporting a growing family
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
   

Schedule: Monday – Friday,  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
