Live-In Housekeeper- UES, NYC

A private family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking an experienced, live-in housekeeper for a long-term role. The ideal candidate is a career housekeeper with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully run home. This position focuses primarily on high-level housekeeping and household organization, with light family support as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed daily cleaning of all living spaces to a high standard

• Maintain overall household order and presentation

• Expert-level laundry care, including washing, pressing, steaming, and garment organization

• Care for delicate fabrics and specialty items

• Maintain organized closets and storage systems

• Implement and maintain organizational systems throughout the home

• Monitor and restock household supplies

• Ensure all areas remain neat, orderly, and guest-ready

• Work collaboratively and respectfully within an active household
   

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain systems

• Experience working in households with children

• Calm, respectful, and professional demeanor
