Housekeeper- Westchester, NY
Mount Kisco, NY - Full Time
Our client is seeking a Full-time Housekeeper to assist with the daily cleaning, laundry, and overall care of their Westchester home. The successful candidate will have experience working in a formal household and will be comfortable working with a team.
Responsibilities:
Schedule: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as requested.
Compensation: $40-$45, health benefits; including medical, dental, vision insurance
Responsibilities:
- Full charge museum quality housekeeping throughout the residence
- Completing the laundry including washing, pressing and ironing sheets, clothing, towels,
- etc. as necessary
- Maintaining tidy and orderly closets throughout residence; providing assistance with
- packing and unpacking for travel
- Liaising with vendors, contractors, and any other household services and employees in a
- positive manner.
- Maintaining household inventories and procuring supplies as needed
- Running errands, grocery shopping, etc.
- Light personal assistance
- Caring for 2 dogs including walking, feeding, administering medication, etc.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Minimum 5 years of related professional experience
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, both as an individual contributor and team
- player
- Ability to take direction and follow policy and rules
- Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
- Professional, polished and discreet
- Must be comfortable handling fine garments and laundry
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
