Companion- Leesburg, VA

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Caregiver to provide full-time companionship and support to a 90-year-old gentleman. This role requires being a constant presence, ensuring safety, and offering assistance with daily tasks. The client values independence but requires support due to memory loss and frequent falls. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time companionship, acting as his “shadow” throughout the day
• Monitor and assist to prevent falls and ensure safety, especially when walking or using the bathroom
• Help with dressing and making sure he stays hydrated
• Assist with pets, as needed. 
• Support him in maintaining independence while ensuring his well-being
• Be available for minimal travel and occasional overnight stays at his nearby property 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a caregiver, nurse, or companion
• Medical certification is a plus
• Physically able to lift and assist with mobility
• Patient, calm, and adaptable
• Comfortable with dogs

Monday through Friday, 10 am - 7 pm
