A managing partner at a single-family office is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant/CPA with a strong foundation in accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hedge fund, asset management, or private equity environment and be comfortable running the day-to-day operations of a fund. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a seasoned investor and take on a hybrid role that blends executive support with hands-on fund accounting and operations.

Responsibilities:

Fund Operations & Accounting:

  • Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including net asset value (NAV) calculations, investment tracking, and reconciliation processes
  • Assist in the preparation of annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and accountants
  • Maintain and organize confidential accounting records and investment documentation
  • Facilitate and track wire transfers and other financial transactions
  • Work closely with legal, tax, and financial advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy in all fund-related activities
  • Liaise with fund administrators for reconciliations, capital activity, and reporting

Executive & Administrative Support:

  • Manage the Managing Partner’s calendar, schedule, and high-level communications
  • Handle confidential correspondence and liaise on behalf of the principal with vendors, legal counsel, and other key stakeholders
  • Support professional engagements and occasional personal errands or logistics
  • Act as a gatekeeper and trusted representative of the Managing Partner in both professional and financial matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in fund operations or accounting, preferably in a hedge fund or investment firm
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Must be based in the Miami, FL area and able to travel locally as needed
  • Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Verifiable professional references required
Salary: $110K to $120K per year
