Household Manager/Butler - Arkansas
A private family is seeking an experienced Household Manager / Butler to oversee their primary residence in Arkansas. This is a hands-on role combining high-level personal service, household management, property oversight, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will be polished, discreet, highly organized, and comfortable providing exceptional service to family and guests. The family maintains multiple residences and the successful candidate should be comfortable traveling with the family as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide polished, professional butler service to the principals and their guests.
Oversee the day-to-day operation and presentation of the residence.
Coordinate household staff and ensure the home operates efficiently.
Assist with entertaining, including meal service, table settings, flowers, and event preparation.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the residence.
Coordinate household vendors, contractors, maintenance providers, and service professionals.
Oversee repairs, maintenance, landscaping, and other property-related needs.
Ensure the residence is fully prepared for the family's arrival and maintained while they are away.
Assist with wardrobe and other personal service needs as requested.
Coordinate with staff and vendors across the family's other residences as needed.
Travel domestically and internationally with the family when required.
Maintain the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of formal and informal household service and entertaining.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and polished demeanor.
Hands-on approach to household and property management.
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.
Strong vendor and staff management skills.
Professional, discreet, personable, and service-oriented.
Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
A long-term commitment to the position and family is highly valued.
Spanish as a second language is a plus.
Schedule: Full-time position with a schedule that will vary based on the family's presence in Arkansas, travel schedule, entertaining, and household needs. Flexibility is essential, including availability to travel with the family to their other residences and internationally.
