Household Manager- Dallas, Texas
Private family seeks an experienced Household Manager to oversee day-to-day household operations and provide light administrative support to a home-based family office. This role is primarily operational and logistical, ensuring the household runs smoothly while reducing administrative burden on the Principal. Confidentiality and discretion are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and schedule household staff, including cleaners and a morning assistant, ensuring consistent service standards and full coverage.
Coordinate landscapers, contractors, and home service vendors by obtaining quotes, scheduling work, and overseeing completion.
Supervise support for an elderly parent, including appointment coordination, transportation logistics, and medication support oversight.
Manage homeschool schedules and activities, arrange transportation, and oversee driver schedules.
Organize and optimize household systems and storage, and lead projects such as document scanning, shredding, archival organization, framing, and photo management.
Handle errands and administrative tasks, including mail pickup, bank deposits, vehicle washing and servicing coordination, and grocery and household shopping oversight.
Provide light family office support through calendar and travel coordination, bill payment, document filing, and expense tracking and reimbursements.
Qualifications:
5–10+ years household manager, estate manager, or executive assistant experience
Comfortable supervising household staff and vendors
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Discreet and trustworthy
Schedule: 20 - 25 hour per week
