Live-out Companion - Bedford, NY (Nursing Background) - The Calendar Group

Live-out Companion needed for paralyzed young adult in Bedford, NY. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and have the ability to motivate client to complete daily exercise and other tasks. Applicants should have a nursing or physical therapy background.

Responsibilities:

Assist client with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring)
Support clients social, emotional, physical and mental health
Transportation to and from appointments
Ensure client keeps on track with daily exercises
Manage medications

Requirements:

Must have nursing or physical therapy background
Must be CPR certified
Excellent, verifiable references

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7am – 7pm

Salary: $DOE
