A private family in Ridgefield, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join their established household team. This is a hands-on role for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with experience maintaining luxury residences and providing formal household service. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the existing housekeeping staff to ensure the seamless operation of a large estate while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide meticulous daily cleaning and organization of all living spaces.
- Household laundry and wardrobe management
- Iron sheets and household linens.
- Care for luxury finishes, antiques, artwork, and specialty surfaces using appropriate cleaning techniques.
- Polish silver and maintain fine household items.
- Set formal tables and assist with dinner service as needed.
- Prepare guest accommodations and maintain guest spaces.
- Coordinate daily responsibilities with the existing housekeeper and rotate coverage between multiple residences on the property.
- Maintain inventory of household cleaning supplies and communicate household needs as appropriate.
- Uphold the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a private residence or formal estate.
- Experience working in large, fully staffed luxury homes.
- Knowledge of formal household service, fine laundry care, table setting, and silver care.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
