Our client is seeking a live-in Nanny for two high-energy boys (ages 2 and 5) who can step in immediately and ideally transition into a long-term role. The family will be based in Miami, FL, until mid-June and will relocate permanently to McLean, VA, by August. Both parents work from home and are very involved with the children. A gentle, large Saint Bernard is also part of the household- comfort with large dogs is essential.

Role Options:

Temporary (ASAP-August):

  • Live-in summer coverage beginning May 17th 
  • Travel with the family, including several weeks in Wyoming. 

Long-Term (August onward):

  • Flexible structure:
    • One full-time live-in nanny, or
    • Rotational nanny (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full care of two active boys (ages 2 & 5); infant support expected starting late 2025
  • Manage routines, meals, naps, and developmentally appropriate activities
  • Prepare and pack for domestic and international travel
  • Maintain detailed records of schedules, belongings, routines, and logistics
  • Support the parents as a reliable and collaborative “mother’s helper”

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high-level private homes
  • Prior experience working with toddlers and managing multiple young children
  • Comfortable with extensive travel
  • Must be dog-friendly (large-breed experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to self-manage once given direction
  • Background check required
  • Verifiable references from past private employers
Salary: OPEN DOE 

Schedule: 40–55 hours/week 

Location: Miami, FL (Relocating to McLean, VA in August 2025)
