Executive Housekeeper- Cresskill, NJ
Our client based in Cresskill, NJ is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and professional Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily upkeep and organization of their 10,000 sq. ft. residence. The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading and working alongside a small team in a formal household, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and take pride in ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standards. This is a hand-on role that combines direct housekeeping responsibilities with managerial oversight.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct a team of two housekeepers.
- Perform hands-on housekeeping, including daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and organization of all rooms.
- Changing bed linens and towels regularly
- Oversee kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, and occasional basic food preparation in accordance with kosher guidelines.
- Handle fine materials, silver, crystal, and fine china with care and precision.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and household products; coordinate reordering and storage.
- Grocery shopping and household supply management
- Maintaining a tidy, safe, and welcoming environment for the family
- Collaborating closely with other household staff and the family to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Acting proactively to anticipate household needs and support the team in maintaining high standards of organization, comfort, and efficiency
Requirements:
- English required; Russian language skills preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of private household experience, including leadership or head housekeeper roles.
- Strong housekeeping skills and deep knowledge of fine home care.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with other household staff
- Discreet, professional, and respectful of the family’s privacy
- Flexible and adaptable to meet household needs
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Verified references from former employers are required
Schedule: Monday- Friday. 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Salary: $100,000-120,000 DOE
